How to post a sceenshot in forum's reply

Post by joelpaz » Tue Oct 08, 2013 9:12 pm

Today I installed Gparted to see the partitions and took a screenshot successfully but was unable to post it in a reply of another thread in this forum. How do you post it in these spaces? I'm using Linuxmint 15 Mate. Thank you for your help.

Select Upload Attachment in post reply.
Browse to image on computer then click on Add the file.
Forum1.jpeg
You will see the attachment below the compose box.
Place your cursor in position in body of reply compose box.
Then click on place inline.
Forum2.jpeg
Image size is limited to 300 for height? I believe.
One above is 580x298

Other options for larger size images is to post to hosting site like photobucket.
Which will host the image and give you different codes to insert into reply box.
I use Flickr myself for large desktop image sharing in forums.
For small problems like error dialogs and resize them to fit for forum guidelines to be placed in body of post.
