Linux Mint System Analyzer?

Postby EchoLynx » Sun Jul 27, 2008 2:58 pm

I am going to install Mint on my old laptop, but I have forgotten how much RAM it has. In Windows I use CPUID's PCWizard 2008 to detect system hardware, but I have never had the need in linux. What would you recommend that I use? (Please, only suggestions that are in the repos.)

Thanks a bunch.

Code: Select all

It is in the repos. It will show up as "System Profiler and Benchmark" in your menu. It covers just about any info you can get out of your PC. You can also use the command line. Open a terminal and try running these tools.
