I downloaded the Mint DBE install image, burned it to DVD, put it in computer dvd drive, I can't get it to boot from the dvd. I made sure that the CD drive is before the hard drive in boot order. I also tried specifically telling it to boot from the dvd. It thought about it a minute and booted into Windows.
I've also tried it in a different computer. I also ran a Non Install Linux CD from my Linux for Dummies book, and it booted from that just fine.
It is a dvd drive.
Now. If it won't boot from the CD it won't install, and I thought these made LIVE DVD's, that you could run Linux from it. What is the trick to getting it to boot from dvd? And quit telling me to waste DVD 's - there's no excuse for needing to use a dvd instead of a CD. It's not like I have a life supply of DVDs.
Any particular trick to installing?

I think it just didn't like that dvd - I tried a different one and it seems to be fine.
