Resume from Hibernation error

Postby erictao200700 » Sat Aug 23, 2008 9:02 am

I have hibernated my linux OS, but after trying to resume, it gave a an error telling me that there was no image to load and i had to log into the terminal. But i can't figure out how to get my graphical interface back.

hmm - so you are in a working text only mode - try startx
I don't know the outcome - if it resumes from hibernation or does a fresh start or failure ...
If you are told that x is already running do Ctrl+Alt+F7

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
