I think that the modelines and modes are unnecessary and should be deleted
Back it up first
There is a tool you start from the terminal that could help you (not in the menu because of some issues)
Here you should be able to set up the two monitors
which means that the xorg.conf is an "emergency file"This file was generated by failsafeDexconf
