Mini ISO to install from the Net?

Postby littlebigman » Wed Apr 16, 2014 8:31 am

Hello

I need to install Linux Mint on a PC that has no CD/DVD drive.

The Download section contains no link to a mini ISO to boot from a USB keydrive and perform a netinstall.
http://www.linuxmint.com/download.php

Does it mean Linux Mint can only be installed from a CD/DVD player?

Thank you.

Yes and no. Official ISOs requires a DVD or USB. If you make your own remaster, CD is enough.

PS. You can install Puppy Linux as an windows installer (exe).

Is there an operating system installed on the PC? Windows?
You could create a bootable usb
Mint 18.2 Cinnamon, Quad core AMD A8-3870 with Radeon HD Graphics 6550D, 8GB DDR3, Ralink RT2561/RT61 802.11g PCI
Linux Linx 2017
