TransferThunderbird emails frm Mint14 2 Mint17 [Solved]

Xenopeek strongly suggests upgrading from Mint14,15,or 16 to 17 asap. I'm running Mint14, and I'd upgrade to 17, but how am I going to transfer my emails from 14 to 17? Thanx 4 any info, It will be greatly appreciated! Thanx! :D

It's all in ~/.thunderbird/

or backup your entire user's home folders, including the "hidden files" which you need to expose.
All things go better with Mint. Mint julep, mint jelly, mint gum, candy mints, pillow mints, peppermint, chocolate mints, spearmint,....

I just found the xxxxxxxx.default directory in ~.thunderbird (xxxxxxx will be something like zsw2x4o8, but it will be different on your system). I just copied that directory with all its files and subdirectories to ~.thunderbird in the new system, then edited profiles.ini in .thunderbird to use the xxxxxxxx.default file (Path=xxxxxxxx.default). Done!
