Connecting to a hidden WPA2 wireless network

Postby Ananke » Mon Nov 10, 2008 11:20 pm

I feel that I must be missing something obvious, but I'm having trouble setting up wireless. My atheros based internal wifi card seems to have been detected properly. Unfortunately I can not connect to a hidden WPA2 network.

Is there an online help page or forum topic on wireless networking options?

Thank you.

You have a wiki here
If you control the AP set it to "Visible" you only get problems when hidden - no security boost at all
You might unhide and make your first connection and then hide again I think it will work but not sure
Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it

Never been able to connect to mine if it's hidden. :(
