I go to Help and click About Firefox and from what I've read, it's supposed to just automatically update itself but it isn't doing that. It says it's firefox 33.0 for Linux Mint mint 1.0 and that's about all it says.
I am using Mint 17.1 Rebecca. That's as detailed as I can get, not knowing what other info is necessary as yet. I have gone to the download pages, downloaded them into what pops up, which is the download folder. I try to unzip them and they unzip, so it says and then they just sit there and do nothing and when I'm on line again I get the same dem thing going on. Nothing has changed.
Think of me as a kindergartener or pre-schooler. I need really down down step by step instructions. Understanding them isn't as important to me as simply doing the right thing. Why is for the genuses who got us these machines in the first place
