Program defaults

Post by Rowbin » Mon Dec 29, 2008 8:45 pm

I installed KMPlayer, but I can't seem to figure out how to make KMPlayer the default video player (for all video files, .mpg, .mp4, .avi. .wmv, ect).. Sorry if it's an obvious answer, I know almost nothing about linux :/

Thanks :)

There are several ways to change default file association:

1) Right-click the file and choose "Open with other application..." to choose the application that will open this file type from now on.

2) In the control center, click on "preferred applications" to change all multimedia associations.
