There's a problem with really old nvidia and the X in Intrepid
For single click I don't know - I never thought of it until yesterday

For single click open Nautilus, Edit >> Preferences >> click the Behavior tab and select single click.

I have installed Mint 6. I was using Mint 5 Elysaa till day before.
Ecellet- improvements more user friendly.
Am concerned about Support- Elyssa based on Ubuntu 8.04, Felicia on Ubuntu 8.10. There was something I read about 3 years support for 8.04 only.
Will that be a problem. Pls advise
