pm-hibernate vs gui hibernate

Post by samarth_math »

I have different behaviour for the gui hibernate and pm-hibernate it seems.

When I type in a terminal, sudo pm-hibernate, the system hibernates perfectly and is able to resume on start-up.

However, when I hibernate by clicking hibernate from the power menu, the system is not able to resume. Any Ideas on how to fix this?

I think this will answer your question: ... d-to-disk-
