Change directory name

How do I change this silly name for a directory ?
Do not want anything after grandpa.

Where is that directory?

Open a terminal inside it and run pwd. Post the result back here.

That looks like the hostname:username prompt that bash puts up to remind you which machine you are using and who is logged in.

First command in tutorial said

Command not found.

I am no longer worried about changing the hostname.

I have other issues such as a non-functioning printer.

The 1st command assumed you had gedit installed.

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install gedit
but basically, open the file with ANY text editor with elevated privileges.
As far as the printer goes, cant help you, sorry.
