Wifi on a Lenovo laptop

Post by tpalermo30 »

I totally love Linux Mint 18, it works so well. My only issue is my wifi works for a few minutes after I start my computer and than stops working. It's like it just shuts off. I'm not sure what the issue is, if I restart it does the same thing works for a few minutes and turns off again. Has anyone else had this issue? I have tried going into a Linux Mint 18 live DVD and it does the same thing. I was thinking maybe it was a bad install.

Prior to Mint 18 what OS were you using and did your wifi work then? It's quite possible its your adapter, rather than mint. What model of Lenovo are you using?
