changing background color of terminal

Post by marcia »

Hello all,

My brother and I love this new linuxmint 6. My brother wants the terminal background color to be black instead of white and I have no idea how to change this. Does anyone know how to do this?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks very much,

Marcia

Changing the background color of a Terminal window is very simple:
1. Open up a Terminal window.
2. Go to Edit > Current Profile ... > Colors tab.
3. Deselect 'Use colors from system theme'.
4. Choose 'White on black' from the combo box below it.
5. Done.

Hope that helps.
