Game controller

Post by fletcher »

I couldn't figure out a better place for this, so I will put it here.

Can anyone suggest a good game controller, like a PS3 controller or something, for Linux Mint? I have a Logitech controller that I bought years ago, but have never been able to get working on Linux. But I would like to get a new one, anyway. I would prefer a wireless one.

I want mainly to play games on Mupen64 or a similar emu.

Thank you for any help.

If your laptop/pc has bluetooth capabilities I would definitely go for a PS3 controller!

Link to some information on how to get it working (it's for Ubuntu but will probably work on mint):

Edit: You could always use a BT dongle if your device doesn't support bluetooth out of the box
If it screams it isn't food yet.

I have a logitech f310 and I got it to work using this http://nomoreterminals.blogspot.com/201 ... buntu.html
though the controller doesn't work on a couple of my steam games. I also have an Xbox 360 controller and it works well on Linux, but mine has a bad left stick which is why I bought the logitech controller.
