(Solved) LM 18 Workspaces - switching Sound turn off?

Post by otadmin »

Where/how can I turn off the sound when switching workspaces? In earlier LM versions it was in the configuration.

In Cinnamon:
  1. Go to Preferences.
  2. Select Sound.
  3. Go to Sound Effects tab.
  4. Under the Effects section, the third option is Switching workspace. Disable it.

I know this is an old thread; but where has this setting moved to in Mint 18?

Thanks!

That question is unanswerable because you are not telling us your desktop environment. Also, this thread is already about Mint 18. On top of that, you should not revive old threads... you might want to re-read the forum rules in case you forgot that.
