Yes, I have a great idea: use Linux software, not Windows software. Outlook is Windows software.
Have you tried Thunderbird? It comes preinstalled with your Mint installation.

Not every Microsoft office component works via Wine in Linux, and Outlook is one of those.

In fact, of all the many Office components, the only ones that work even reasonably well are Excel and Word, and even then, the newest version of those that will work is Office 2010.

If you must use Microsoft Office components, then MS Windows is the OS to use.

If you are in a company that hosts their own Exchange Server, you can also check to see if they have enabled the Outlook Web Appl.
It works really well in your favorite browser.

Depending on how much reading you've already done, this may be worth a look.

Okay, good. Then why are you expecting it to work in Linux?

As you wrote in the starting post, that you have the same problem also with other distros, there must have anything been changed: This might be the version of wine you use, the version of outlook or a problem with your wine prefix.

I'm as cool as a cucumber salad, no worries. I just wish the OP would give us a liiiiitle more information to work with. So I'm asking questions, in hopes of making that happen.

HI,
I'm using Go Daddy for my web hosting. When I signed up with them I was using a Windows O.S. PC. A few years ago I switched to Linux. Outlook has worked fine.
Now I'm using another web host. Many of the features of Outlook are absent in T-bird. Also I'll be switching to Mint 19 soon.
I know you told others that Outlook doesn't work in Linux. Mine has worked fine for several years.

So my question is: how do I run Outlook with A2 hosting?
Thanks a million.
Hope you can help me.

Hi MitchM - how did you get Outlook working for such a long time?.
as you may not be able to run Outlook with A2 hosting, at least natively, on any Linux System.
- you may be able to get it working with the ./wine project, though.
