Have you tried booting in compatibility mode? If not, try to boot off the Live CD again but this time choose compatibility mode from the boot menu.

And one more thing, always tell us the complete specs of your system as well as the version, edition and variant of Mint in question, e.g. Linux Mint 6 Main Edition x86 or Linux Mint 6 Main Edition x86-64 or Linux Mint 6 XFCE CE, etc. We do not have psychic powers, you know.

I am giving you generic recommendations for now:

- Burn the ISO again, this time choose the lowest speed supported by the burner.
- Make sure you have at least 512 MB of available RAM. I suspect lack of RAM is what has been causing the Live CD to fail to load, based on your computer specs here. It says that the T6003 comes with ATi Radeon Xpress 200 that employs shared memory architecture -- meaning some of your RAM is reserved for the GPU.
