USB To SERIAL

Post by Stephan Wiese »

Hi there,
I'm new with this great system Linux Mint 18, Now i have a little problem connecting my HP Switches, via the USB-Serial Converter.
Can anyone please help me solving this.

Here is the ID, and manufactur of this converter.
Bus 002 Device 009: ID 0403:6001 Future Technology Devices International, Ltd FT232 USB-Serial (UART) IC
This is the data from lsusb in terminal.

How to make this work. I use Putty, but i'm willing to use any program to get connected.

Please help.

Kind regards
Stephan
