Taskbar : running applications are not displayed

Postby AurelienG » Mon Mar 16, 2009 7:17 pm

Hello,

I have Linux Mint Elyssa Gnome installed on a PC with a Sempron 64 2800+ and 512 MB of RAM.
The VGA is a Geforce 4 MX 400 (I think). Compiz is enabled, full effects (wobbling windows and all).

Everything worked fine since yesterday : in the taskbar (the big grey bar at the bottom of the screen), every running application was shown.

But now, no matter how many applications I run at the same time, this bar remains fully grey. It is possible to switch between applications with Alt+Tab, but I cannot see the list of what is running on the machine.

I google'd the problem, but nothing came up :-/

How can I get the taskbar to work properly again ?

Thanks in advance for your help.
