When visiting amazon.com in Chromium I get the following error.
Code: Select all
Your connection is not private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from amazon.com (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). NET::ERR_CERTIFICATE_TRANSPARENCY_REQUIRED
No issue with Firefox, only Chromium. Only noticed in the last few days too. Computer is fully updated, nothing recently changed.
How can I resolve this please?

I'm guessing you just need to wait for the next chromium update to hit Ubuntu repos.
A few weeks ago there was another problem for chromium involving security. I use LMDE2 which is based on Debian as opposed to 17.x or 18 which are based on Ubuntu. Both then and now I received an update to chromium in the morning and later in the day people using the Ubuntu based Mint reported issues at Amazon (and in the other case, other sites too) but it all worked for me.
Don't worry, Ubuntu will get it done within a few days, I'm sure.
