[Solved] Sound Card questions

Postby Salamancero » Sun Apr 19, 2009 12:15 pm

Hi,

I've been setting up my latptop (Toshiba Satellite A100-S2211TD) for most of the day and things are working out. I have a question though with my sound card and codec (Realtek ALC861). I tried playing music and listening to a track on youtube awhile ago and there's been some problems. The audio, for a lack of a better term is "messed up". Do i need to download something? I tried looking at sound preference but I didnt find any solutions.

Thanks :)

Thanks!

This is turning into an interesting two days. Wiping windows off my hard drive seems to be the best thing to happen to this laptop (and my sanity). Don't mind the extra legwork configuting my system. I actually find it enjoyable. :D
