PROBLEM IN SYNAPTIC MANAGER UPDATE

I get this message when i try running my synaptic manage

Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/dists/intrepid ... Sources.gz 404 Not Found
Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

can some one please give me step by instruction how to solve this, or give me a link how to solve this , thanks in advance

The link you copied is used to fetch the package "dists/intrepidsourceSources.gz" from Launchpad. The problem is that the package is not listed in the Launchpad index and Package Manager cannot retrieve it. If you tell us what you were trying to download we may be able to recommend an alternate source.
