update a program (Solved)

Postby Prsman » Sun Sep 17, 2017 2:05 pm

I installed Master PDF Editor 4 using the Gdebi Package installer. Now there is an updated version. Do I delete the old program and install or just install the new one? Thanks

Just install the new one. Normally, the old one should be overwritten.

I don't think I ever removed an old version of Master PDF Editor before installing the new one. Looking in my Menu, I see I have one of version 3.x installed (probably the newest 3.x), and one of version 4.x installed (the newest of 4.x).
