Adding ZTE phone to linux for file transfers (SOLVED)

Post by Zipjim89 »

How do I add a ZTE phone to Sonya Cinnamon? I can see a tar.gz file for it, but it won't mount or let me transfer files. I also don't have the permissions to do anything.

Hello Zipjim89,
You can try this go to synaptic and in stall the following packages.

Code: Select all

jmtpfs mtpfs go-mtpfs
you should then be able to see your phone and transfer files
Good luck.
