Installing Adobe Flash

Post by lobsters15 »

I have returned to Linux Mint and I have installed Linux Mint 18 on a usb stick to try live rather than a complete install. All is well but I am unable to install Adobe Flash to the usb stick which has persistence. Any help will be much appreciated.

Curious! Are you using 32 or 64 bit. Adobe does not install in 32 bit OS.

Only 32-bit Chrome's flash support has ended. Firefox, Opera ... etc. has FlashPlayer for 32 and 64-bit systems.

I stand corrected. Remembered some discussion on it a while back. Have not tried it on my 32 bit installations (3).

If Flash is installed, it must be enabled also. To check installed or not run

Code: Select all

dpkg --get-selections | grep adobe-flashplugin
