Installing Adobe Flash
I have returned to Linux Mint and I have installed Linux Mint 18 on a usb stick to try live rather than a complete install. All is well but I am unable to install Adobe Flash to the usb stick which has persistence. Any help will be much appreciated.

Re: Installing Adobe Flash
Curious! Are you using 32 or 64 bit. Adobe does not install in 32 bit OS.
Re: Installing Adobe Flash
Only 32-bit Chrome's flash support has ended. Firefox, Opera ... etc. has FlashPlayer for 32 and 64-bit systems.Tomgin5 wrote:Curious! Are you using 32 or 64 bit. Adobe does not install in 32 bit OS.

Re: Installing Adobe Flash
I stand corrected. Remembered some discussion on it a while back. Have not tried it on my 32 bit installations (3).
Re: Installing Adobe Flash
Code: Select all
apt update
apt install mint-meta-codecs adobe-flashplugin adobe-flash-properties-gtk
Re: Installing Adobe Flash
I tried the two lines of code but Flash still not available.
Re: Installing Adobe Flash
If Flash is installed, it must be enabled also. To check installed or not runlobsters15 wrote:I tried the two lines of code but Flash still not available.
