Up till now anything I've had on a cd or file (media) has always played fine under Mint 6.
I tried a cd the other day which was a powerpoint format and Linux tried to open it but said it was a format it could not understand.
What program should I install? It's not the cd as under windows it auto ran and played fine.

Re: Playing a powerpoint CD under Mint6
Have you tried opening it in openoffice Presentation? if that fails you could always install ms office in wine
Re: Playing a powerpoint CD under Mint6
I did not specifically try presentation as in past occasions Mint knew what it wanted and loaded the program automatically but I'll try manually starting presentation and see what happens.Carl wrote:Have you tried opening it in openoffice Presentation? if that fails you could always install ms office in wine
