Font size 1611 causes non-responsiveness

Postby homology » Wed Dec 06, 2017 9:49 pm

I'm using Linux Mint 18.3 with Cinnamon.

I was adjusting the font size, using Preferences > Fonts. I typed 16, then my hand slipped, and I pressed 11, resulting in a font size of 1611. The computer became non-responsive. I restarted. Now, when I log in, nothing is shown, and after a few seconds of non-responsiveness, I'm automatically logged out.

I can boot into recovery mode. I can start a guest session. Is there a way to put the font size back to something reasonable?

I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!
