Toshiba Equium A200-1V0 - compatibility?

Hello, i’m looking at buying a Toshiba Equium A200-1V0 with the hope of installing Linux Mint, so i can get into learning linux,
i’ve found some one who is selling one at an affordable price, they have told me all works perfect. i’d just like some of your experienced help please

some info on the laptop, taken from the toshiba webpage.

Toshiba Equium A200-1V0 1.46GHz 15.4" 1280 x 800pixels:

Best way would be to give it a trial run without installing any thing on the HDD by using the Mint live USB or live cd

I am using Mint 18.3 Cinnamon 64 bit with AMD processor . Memory 8GB
