Using the wheel on the mouse for scrolling

Post by ICIT2 »

Hello I just want to ask a very quick query - in Windows to scroll fast up or down a page one just had to hold down the mouse wheel and pull the mouse down - or up to quickly get to the top or bottom of the page so avoiding endlewss sining the wheel to do that. .

Is this possible in Linux Mint?? If so just what settings do I need to do this. Am running 18.3 Mint Cinnamon i this of any help in identifying this issue.

This is matter of the used application. In Firefox you can activate in preferences -> advanced -> general -> automatic scrolling.
