Hi im new to linux im using linux 18.2, i've been trying to download teamviewer from the website but every time i try to access it i keep getting this error message ( This site can’t provide a secure connection
http://www.teamviewer.com sent an invalid response.
ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR )

Does anyone know why this is happening and how i can download teamviewer ?

works just fine, on this machine - - got TV13 in just a few seconds

- which version of LinuxMint are you using ?
- what Web Browser - are you using ? is it Firefox ?.

i tried to download teamviewer in the terminal it seemed to be working until i got this message ( ryan@ryan-HP-ProBook-6555b ~ $ sudo su

what is your method of getting your machine on-line?.

- are you using a VPN ?.

Just a suggestion. You probably shouldn't run as root (sudo su) to run your terminal commands.

im not using a vpn just the google chrome browser. Thanks for the tip Jerry im still learning how to use Linux

the actual *.deb file is not very big,
so can you use some other connection to get the file from the TV site?.

That's where you went wrong. The file probably doesn't exist anymore. You need to download the latest version, and you need the right architecture for your system, 32 or 64 bit.
