Somewhere, somehow I changed the orientation of my desktop icons to horizontal. I want to swap them back to vertical but, for the life of me, I can't find where to change the setting.
I have Mint 18.3 Cinnamon 64-bit.

Right Click on the desktop, select Desktop dropdown, the choice between horizontal and vertical is at the bottom of the menu...

Thanks. I discovered the solution shortly after posting. IMO, it would have been much better to have a redundant setting somewhere in the 'Preferences' section.
