Open that file in your text editor:

Code: Select all

xed .config/mimeapps.list
Delete those 2 lines:
inode/directory=wine.desktop
inode/directory=wine.desktop;
Mint 18.2 Cinnamon, Quad core AMD A8-3870 with Radeon HD Graphics 6550D, 8GB DDR3, Ralink RT2561/RT61 802.11g PCI

I rename (so it can't be found by wine)
~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32/winemenubuilder.exe
to prevent wine from adding menu items (and IIRC .desktop files in file associations).

Most people will ignore a thread marked solved. It might be helpful to start a new thread.
