[SOLVED] Lost Software Manager from menu.

Post by Mishu » Wed Feb 21, 2018 7:27 pm

I have lost the means to see or open Software Manager although Synaptic Package manager is shown as well as software Source. How do I re-install Software manager?

Can anyone give assistance?

Regards
Mishu

Presuming you're using Cinnamon. Right click in the Panel ( taskbar ) and select add applets, search for and select software manager. ( Just a hunch ).

Maybe you could open Synaptic and type in mintinstall in the searchbox and check if it is installed in your system.

In Synaptic, mark the entry for mintinstall, right click on it and choose mark for installation. Then click on apply on the toolbar.
