Hidden Applications (Solved)

Post by Mike_in_Canada »

I have a curious problem occurring recently ...
When I minimize an application (Firefox, MediaPlayer etc) it disappears from the Desktop and Taskbar.
Checking System Monitor shows that the Applications are still running.
What is going on here?

Linux Mint 18.3 Mate

Sounds like you don't have the Windows List applet on your panel.

You might want to check the panel ( taskbar ) configuration... you're looking for "Windows List"... no idea how to do that on Mate... probably right click on the panel then add.
