Tried jumping via terminal

Code: Select all

mintman@admin1-To-be-filled-by-O-E-M:~$ chvt 1
Couldn't get a file descriptor referring to the console
mintman@admin1-To-be-filled-by-O-E-
How do I open the virtual terminal if I can't use the shortcut? Man page isn't exactly filled with enlightening help
Cheers.

Code: Select all
