Control "screen shading"

Post by Thorvald »

You will laugh with this, but I never had chance to configure this in the past.

I just installed Linux Mint (I came from other Linux distros), and the screen of my laptop
diminishes the brightness after some time, before entering the screensaver. I'm fine with
the 15 minutes before the screensaver, but I don't like this "screen shading"; this is what happens
when the distro wants to save battery.

Could you tell me how to set that my screen is at all times bright.

I have Cinnamon, and just installed Mint yesterday.
