Menu on the wrong side.

Post by Doug B »

On my panel, I somehow moved my menu applet to the right side and cannot move it back to the left side. The panel is at the bottom of the screen.

Thanks

You didn't say what version and edition of Mint. In Cinnamon the panel has an edit mode, in MATE you can just right click and select to move elements, in other editions I'm not sure. All of those should also give you an option to reset the panel.

How you do that depends upon which version of Mint (17.x? 18.x? 19?) you are using, and which Desktop Environment (Cinnamon? MATE? XFCE?). On Mint 17.3 XFCE, right click on the Menu button, then click Move.

Right click on the panel, turn on panel edit mode, click and drag the menu applet to the desired location, right click on panel and turn off panel edit mode.
