Nvidia Drivers wont work

Post by teknotel »

Hey newbie here. Installed Linux to dual boot with windows 10 on my new system. Went fine, except the nvidia drivers won't seem to work. Causing me to crash into fallback mode or something. Purged the nvidia drivers and added some untrusted ones following a guide. It added new drivers, but just the same problem.

Went back to open source ones that aren't nvidia and its working ok.

Anyone help me? Do I need the nvidia drivers? Would like them I guess, but no idea what to do. Thanks.
