You appear to have an Ethernet adapter under enp3s0, so try that in place of eth0
Your wireless card is wlp4s0

you shouldn't have to do anything. it connects automatically. what do you see when you click in networktray icon > network connections. do you have anything under Ethernet and Wi-Fi?

okay, so i was looking around for solutions on other places and i found this solution, what you do is you make a DSL connection add your info, choose your device and in ipv4 you choose automatic and in ipv6 you choose ignore and that fixed my internet connection. thanks for help

haven't used create dsl connection since windowsxp, but if it work for you then it's good. maybe the issue was that your dsl connection needed user/password to connect to isp? usually router or modem does that but don't break it if you are satisfied

I also have that problem. Except, when I start from the completely off state, it connects just fine. However if I "suspend" rather then shut down, when I wake it it doesn't connect to the wired connection. It will connect to the wireless connection, but that is slower. I did try the DSL thing mentioned, but DSL doesn't show up in my options and changing the ip6 did nothing.

In the dialogue below it says no help can be given without the output of a command so here is what my computer spit out:

Did you ever find a solution for this issue? I am having the same problem (Mint 19.1 64 bit Cinnamon) and can't seem to find a fix. I tried deleting the network connections as suggested. I tried adjusting the Ethernet settings in the network manager. I tried updating to the newest kernel through Update Manger. Nothing I've tried has worked. The only resolution is a reboot or don't let the PC suspend. I didn't have this problem with Mint 18.3 Cinnamon.

I did some more Google searching and found this thread: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... ug/1798921. It appears there may be an issue with the newer kernels supported by Mint 19. and my sky2 driver. The script in post #15 of that thread does seem to be a workaround fix for me. Hopefully it gets a proper fix in a future update.
