[SOLVED!] Where is Cinnamon Looking Glass log?

Post by heartnotes »

I had an applet of some sort with an error, it told me on startup, but it didn't actually tell me where to locate this.

Varies depending on Cinnamon version.

3.8.x - looking glass output is integrated with ~/.xsession-errors
3.6.x or below - ~/.cinnamon/glass.log

Alternatively - Win-L will launch the looking glass (melange) debugger which includes a log viewer.

Win+L did the trick.

Thanks, looks like Gtile was the culprit.
