[SOLVED] System goes to hibernate after typing password and hit enter

Post by encanto104 »

Hi Guys,
I have this issue for quite sometime, I have an external monitor connected to my laptop using VGA connection. I am using my external monitor every time with the Lid closed permanently on my laptop, I only have to open the lid to turn it on. So after typing my password to login instead of continuing to the desktop my system will go to hibernate to I have to open again my laptop screen to press the power button to wake it up. This happens like most of the time that I will log in.

Any idea is deeply appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.

Encanto

after some time of testing and using my newly installed linux mint 19 the same issue reoccurs. This happens randomly and I cannot simulate it, I already disabled the suspend feature apparently the issue still happens. Did any of you guys experience the same? I really don't know what to do to fix this issue. :( :( :(
Please help
