problem to update system

Post by hilfer23 »

Hi :

Linux Mint 18.3 cinnamon 64 bit v. 3.6.7.

I get the notification that I have some updates available.

When I start updating I get the following error message:

W: Erro GPG: http://repository.spotify.com stable InRelease: As seguintes assinaturas não puderam ser verificadas porque a chave pública não está disponível: NO_PUBKEY A87FF9DF48BF1C90
W: The repository 'http://repository.spotify.com stable InRelease' is not signed.

I already tried to uninstall spotify but error remains !!

What to do ??

You could go to Software Sources: Additional repositories and uncheck/remove the entry for Spotify.

Go to menu and type software ... and launch it from there.
Or I guess you could runmintsourcesin a terminal as well to launch it from there.

You have removed the program itself but
W: Error GPG: http://repository.spotify.com stable InRelease: As seguintes assinaturas não puderam ser verificadas porque a chave pública não está disponível: NO_PUBKEY A87FF9DF48BF1C90
W: The repository 'http://repository.spotify.com stable InRelease' is not signed.
suggests, when you try to update, that you haven't yet removed that particular repository from your Software Sources.

In order to rid yourself from the error message you would need to remove this additional repository.
Open your application menu and type software sources. You will be presented with the application you need to launch.

I don't want to launch any application at all.

All I want to do is to install all the updates available as shown on the update manager.
But everytime I try it gives me same error.

Software Sources is an "application" for management and configuration of the ... software sources.
