I can't find a Brightness scale in settings.
Tried a couple of commands from internet but no luck.
Could you advise, please.
Any help would be appreciated.

You can go to your Synaptic Package Manager and search for brightnessctl and install it - brightnessctl is a small utility to control the brightness
of a screen's backlight. or you can get Brightness Controller by adding this PPA through your terminal
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:apandada1/brightness-controller
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install brightness-controller
Personally I use Brightness Controller from the PPA - works very well and it puts an Icon usually under all programs
