I erased macOS and installed windows on my macbook (without bootcamp) and proceded to install linux mint from a usb. I chose the option to install it alongside windows giving it X gb and everything went smooth.
However, when I turned off my computer and then on, I pressed alt on boot to choose linux mint. It was not showing up. So I clicked the windows (only option) and then GRUB showed up allowing me to pick linux mint or windows. It worked, I could boot into LM, but I was not able to boot into windows from GRUB.
So I had to reinstall windows since I did not know how to fix it.
How can I install Linux Mint so it shows up on the macbook bios when pressing alt on boot?
I'd like to apologize in advance if this is not the place to ask this, and would like to be refered to the propper place. Thank You!
