ACL on usb Memory Sticks - how to eliminate

Post by celem »

Every usb memory stick that I insert now is read-only due to ACL. I have tried setfacl -b and chown without really obtaining a writable state.

Personally, I'd like to totally eliminate ACL, at lease for auto-mounted media and maybe for the whole system. How can I achieve this?
