Does anyone know an alternative to Disk Indicator?

Post by drpeppercan »

That would work with LM Tara (Cinnamon)?
Unfortunately Disk Indicator doesn't seem to work with Tara.
When trying to install it's PPA, it told me: Unable to locate package indicator-diskman
And the link for its .deb file is broken :(

Thanks

I should think the correct link is here:
https://github.com/teejee2008/diskman/releases

I don't know if it works, never used it, just give it a try.

https://launchpad.net/~teejee2008/+archive/ubuntu/ppa

It looks like Tony stopped with the last version being for Ubuntu 17.10.

You could try a deb from here - https://launchpad.net/~teejee2008/+arch ... /+packages

Edit - or gm10's link :)

HI drpeppercan,

As was mentioned by member "gm10", download the 64-bit or 32-bit Linux deb file from the link below, and double-click it to install it. I was able to download it a moment ago. This may require a restart or at least logging out and back in.

Releases · teejee2008/diskman · GitHub
https://github.com/teejee2008/diskman/releases

Hope this helps ...
