I'm having a problem installing Openshot.
I had a previous version and did an upgrade via terminal. When I try to open the prog from the menu I get a dialogue box on screen "Version 0.2.2 is required, but 0.1.9 was detected. Please update libopenshot or download our latest installer."
No matter what I try I get this same dialogue.
I tried installing 2.4.1 from the openshot website but still same message.
I tried synaptic 0 still same message
I tried PPA - still same message
HELP please !

Re: Problem installing Openshot
Try removing the old version first
sudo apt-get remove openshot-qt
then run
sudo apt autoremove
then run - to install current stable version
sudo apt-get install openshot-qt
hope this helps

Hi dede468,
I just read your post and the good replies to it. Here are my thoughts on this as well.
+1 for what member "Lord Boltar" suggested. "Openshot" also has other installation options, like an AppImage or their PPA, etc...
