[SOLVED] Refresh desktop

Post by damienbourgeonnui » Fri Oct 19, 2018 11:30 am

Hello,

all of a sudden, all my icons on my desktop disappeared. How can I refresh/relaunch my desktop on Linux Mint Mate without rebooting?

Thank you.

Depends on why the icons aren't showing. You sure you didn't just switch workspaces?

To fully reload the desktop process, in a terminal window run

Code: Select all

killall caja
(this will also close all file browser windows)
